Water source heat pumps

Reverse cycle water source heat pumps provide a viable alternative for low cost, fast track, energy efficient, air conditioning installations. A simple two pipe, unisulated water circulation system enables heat transfer from areas with a surplus of heat to those with a lack of heat. Surplus heat is rejected from the system to atmosphere via an energy efficient dry or adiabatic dry cooler.

Replica Units

van Spall Associates manufacture replica heat pumps to replace obsolete models from other manufacturers. These competitively priced units are manufactured to the same dimensions and capacities to the originals, thus avoiding expensive ductwork or system modifications.

Heat pump controls

Heat pumps can be supplied with automatic, manual, or digital controls. Automatic changeover thermostats are fitted as standard and provide a stop/start function, three fan speeds and night override. There are indicator lights for heating, cooling, fault and night override. Manual thermostats allow changeover and three fan speeds.

The AQUATEMP series of heat pumps are available as:-

	WFMSH & WFMLH Floor & wall mounted models capacities up to 5Kw
	HVM Concealed horizontal mounted capacities up to 24Kw
	VLN Very low noise models capacities up to 2KW

HVM Models are available with unique servicing arrangements (see picture) No need to remove unit from ceiling void all major items can be dismounted and replaced in situ

Plant packs

To complement heat pumps systems, van Spall offer custom designed & manufactured plant packs. These heat rejection packs are available in dry or adiabatic configurations include:-

	System circulating pump
	Electric heater or plate heat exchanger
	Flow setting & bypass control valves
	Pressurisation set and expansion vessel
	Internal piping
	System control processor with POWERTRONIC fan speed control

van Spall Associates Ltd offer a full workshop repair and refurbishment and contract maintenance service for all makes of water source heat pumps. Our engineers will on request, visit site, to inspect existing installations and make recommendations regarding refurbishment or replacement. A refrigerant replacement service is also available.
