Air cooled radiators
van Spall air cooled radiators are installed on power projects throughout the UK, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and South America. Some of the many power applications include:

All van Spall radiators are custom designed to meet our customer’s requirements, however, as a minimum standard, the following CONSTRUCTION SPECIFICATION applies:
CASING: 3.0mm thick pre-galvanised sheet steel
TUBE PLATES: 2.0mm thick pre-galvanised sheet steel
TUBES: 5/8” OD seamless copper
FINS: 0.13mm thick aluminium
HEADERS: Copper tube 0.5mm wall thickness
FAN IMPELLERS: Fully adjustable cast aluminium epoxy coated aerofoil section
FAN HOUSING: 3mm thick galvanised steel
FAN MOTORS: IP55 rated Class F standard single speed or suitable for speed control
CONNECTION FLANGES : PN/DIN, ASME etc
SUPPORT LEGS (ABC units): 3mm welded mild steel galvanised after fabrication
SUPPORT FRAME(DVVD units): Rigid welded steel box tube frame 3 stage epoxy coated
FINISH: 3 stage epoxy weatherproof paint system RAL 7035
Other casing materials available include stainless steel and aluminium. For corrosive atmospheres heat exchanger fins can be supplied in Aluminium/magnesium alloy, copper, tinned copper or stainless steel. Vinyl coating and Blygold fin coatings are available. Exacting quality standards are applied during design and manufacture with BS, European and ASME requirements catered for.
